Nevin’s sucre à crème

 

Bring the following to a boil for 2 minutes:

·         2 cups (500g) brown sugar

·         1 cup (1/2 stick) butter

·         4 tbsp. whipping cream

Remove from heat and add:

·         1 tsp vanilla

·         2 cups (250 g) icing sugar

Beat with electric blender.

Pour into butter lined pan.
